It all started with a simple love for photography. As a child, I always carried a small film camera on school trips, eager to capture the world around me. Later, as a young adult in Cyprus, I bought my first digital camera and camcorder. I was excited to start capturing every moment.

When I was planning a trip to Thailand, I decided to get a better camera and bought my first “serious” digital camera. The joy I felt capturing the natural beauty of the sea, the vibrant culture of Thailand, and memorable moments with friends was amazing. Those experiences taught me the value of preserving such memories through photography. A single photo can tell a thousand words, evoking emotions and bringing back countless memories. Seeing those photos when I got home made me fall even more in love with photography.

Over time, I added my first interchangeable lens camera and lens. This step marked a turning point in my journey, opening up new creative possibilities and deepening my passion for photography.

As my passion for portrait photography grew, I realized I needed to improve my skills to bring my ideas to life. I started learning how to use editing software like Lightroom and Photoshop. These programs helped me enhance my portraits, adjust details, and create more polished and realistic results.

A memorable moment in my journey was when Bianca Koyabe, an African world suit model, chose me to photograph her during her visit to Cyprus. That experience boosted my confidence, and since then, I’ve had the chance to work with many models, which has helped me improve my skills even more.

Though portraits are my main focus, nature photography also holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been fortunate to participate in the Cyprus photographic competition “Stressball” twice, earning second place in both the Black and White and Landscape categories.

During the pandemic, I saw an opportunity to improve my skills further. I studied product photography and lighting, which helped me to learn and understand much better the way light reflects and interacts with surfaces. This deeper understanding allowed me to see light like never before and to truly appreciate how important it is in creating beautiful and meaningful images.

Photography is a journey that never ends, and I embrace it fully. As a photographer, I want you to know that I’m here to create more than just pictures. I want to create an experience for you.
